15 03 2024 Some nice periods of sunshine this week allowed for great elevenses in our garden area . This week we finished and delivered the Bin Store to Sandy Lancing & Sompting Lions Club . The Tombola is almost finished after a request from Sarah Lancing and Sompting Churches' Food Bank . We have also added a great sign to our Garden Area and have painted the gate and front security grills. Bench ends are being prepared and we have set up our second lathe area now as well for our shedders to learn on/use. What started as a very wet week ended with the Sun managing to shine on our last session of the week . Big Thanks to local resident Jean who contacted us regards a donation of tools we will make good use of them and ensure they all get used again . Have a great weekend
07 03 2023 So pleased and proud to have been made a "Community Champion of the Year 2024" by Lancing Parish Council last evening!
Thank you so much to the Staff and Councillors for this Award. At The Shed we try hard to reach out and use our time and skills to the benefit of our local community, so it is so lovely to be recognised in this way. Special thank you to Parish Chairman, Councillor Mike Mendoza and Councillor Joe Pannell, Chairman of Adur District Council for presenting the Award to us.

Left. Howard Attwater or "H" as he was affectionately known was at our very first meeting and offered his double garage to be our first Shed. We were so grateful. H passed away in 2017 and the Shedders continue to support his partner, Julie.
